Obituary of Marcia Nanette Feinsod

Marcia Nanette Feinsod, 96, passed away on June 15, 2023. She was born in Newark, NJ and resided for the past 40 years in Tewksbury, NJ.

Marcia attended Irvington High School in NJ. Along with her husband and sons, she was a co-owner of Sight & Sound camera & audio stores in Morristown, Bernardsville and Parsippany, NJ. She led a very active life, with many different hobbies and interests including collecting antiques, horseback riding, skiing, sewing, knitting, cooking, reading and being a “professional volunteer”. In her retirement she volunteered as a member of SCORE, an organization which counsels business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well serving on the board of the Tewksbury Trail Association, serving as the Chairman of Parks and Recreation for Tewksbury Township, and working as a tutor for ESL (English as a Second Language). Marcia had a great sense of humor and always appreciated a good debate.

Marcia is preceded in death by her husband, Monroe (Mickey) Feinsod, as well as her brother Hilbert (Sonny) Spector, sister Shirley Jaffe, and grandson Jesse Feinsod.  She is survived by her sons, Ethan Feinsod and his wife Connie, Ronald Feinsod and his wife Denise Gastineau, and her daughter, Deborah Feinsod. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, along with many more close friends who loved her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Mount Freedom Hebrew Cemetery, Randolph, NJ.
