Obituary of Margery C. Esposito

Please share a memory of Margery to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

On June 28, 2023 our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Margery Esposito, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord.  She was 89 years old, born in Morristown, New Jersey, and spent her life in Madison, Whippany and Loveladies. She moved to North Carolina where she lived the last three years of her life.

She is survived by her five children, Michael, Stephen, David, Laura, and Lisa. Also by her 11 grandchildren, Nicole, David, Dana, Steven, Lydia, Luca, Tim, Lewis, Thomas, Daniel, and Nicolas.  She also had seven great grandchildren, Mason, Elliott, Meadow, Orion, Bryce, Milo and Corbyn.

Marge loved the ocean and had a lovely shore home where she enjoyed hosting her large family.  This house was central to her family in the summer months and much fun was had by all.  She was the family “scrabble champ” and we all spent countless hours unsuccessfully trying to beat her at this game!

Marge was very proud of a book she wrote about her childhood in Madison. She grew up in the Orchard and Prospect Street parts of Madison. She was an avid sports lover. The Yankees and Mets were her favorites. Most of the family members have beautiful crocheted items from their mother, grandmother, great grandmother to treasure always. She enjoyed cooking and had many recipes.

Visitation will be at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home in Madison on July 15 from 8:00-9:30 AM.  There will be a Memorial Mass at Saint Vincent Martyr Church in Madison at 10:00 AM and then we will go to the New Vernon Presbyterian Church where she will be laid to rest. A repass will follow.

(For those who cannot attend the Memorial Mass physically, the Memorial Mass will be live-streamed on St. Vincent Martyr Church's website at www.svmnj.org.)

Donations can be sent to…Madison Ambulance (www.madisonems.org), Or St Vincent's Catholic Church (www.svmnj.org).
