Obituary of Dorothy B. Crosby

Dorothy B. Crosby, 81, passed away on January 8, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center. She was born in Anderson, SC. And lived in Morristown, NJ, for the past 56 years.

Dorothy graduated from Reed Street High School, Anderson, SC, in 1959. She worked as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Bradlee’s, Cedar Knolls, for 27 years until 2001. She then worked as a Cashier for Staples, Morristown, until 2008. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.

She is survived by her loving children, Dian Crosby-Ingram, Anthony Crosby (Gwen), Ann Marie Bass (George), Bing Miron Crosby (Lisa) and daughter-in-law, Kathy Wright-Crosby, 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bing Crosby, in 2022, her son, David Crosby, grandson, Jahmad Hall, and son-in-law, Tyson Ingram, six siblings in addition to her parents, Ward and Eva Leverette of Anderson, SC.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 1:00pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 220 Dover-Chester Road, Randolph, NJ. Interment will be private.

Arrangements are under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
