Arthur C. Brachat, 89, of Rockaway, passed away at Morristown Medical Center on January 14, 2021.
Born in Newark, NJ, Arthur resided in Washington, NJ before moving to Rockaway 14 months ago.
Arthur graduated from Eastside High School in Newark in 1950. He worked as a Sprinkler Fitter for Frank J. Hills (Local 696) in Garwood, NJ for 40 years, until he retired in 1992.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Washington, NJ.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Catherine; and his devoted children, Denise and Richard Ferens, of West Lake Village, CA, and Susan Gallico, of Riverdale, NJ. He is also survived by cherished grandchildren, Melissa and Vincent Piscitelli, David Gallico and David Bernat, Kayla Gallico and Walker Aspinwall, Gina Chirichella and Cole Darius, Marisa Ferens; as well as his adored great-granddaughters, Ava and Rosie Piscitelli. Arthur was predeceased by his siblings, Marion Hirt and Carl Brachat.
A Prayer/Graveside Service for Arthur will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00am at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
