To the entire Grohol Family,
I can remember a time shortly after we all had graduated from college and we were back in Madison for one of the holidays and we were reminiscing at the bar in your basement about our high school years. We chatted about how great it had been to grow up in that environment and how fortunate we had been compared to some of the people we had met to that point in our lives.
Obviously it was not really the town, but rather the friends and their families that made the experience so fun and defining. Whether it was playing football in the yard, playing with Rugby or Wrangler, water skiing at Smith Mountain Lake, or eating pounds of pistachios, there was the constant of family and friends.
Thank you all for being a part of my formative years, and I appreciate the positive impact you had on all of our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
