Obituary of Irene P Getz

Irene Carmella Pastore Getz, 83, passed away on February 11, 2022 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ, and lived in Denville, NJ, prior to moving to Oak Ridge, NJ, nine months ago. Irene worked for Allstate Insurance Company, Bridgewater, NJ, as an Administrative Assistant for 20 years until her retirement in 2006. She was a member of St. Francis Chapel, Denville, NJ. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Getz, Mount Tabor, NJ, and her son, William Getz, Bridgewater, NJ, and Robert Getz. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Aloysius Thomas Getz in 1988. An inurnment of ashes will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ, at a later date. The family requests that donations in memory of Irene may be made to your local pet shelter. Arrangements are under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains, NJ.
