Obituary of E. Jay Kennedy

E. Jay Kennedy, formerly of Whippany, NJ, age 95, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2018, after a brief illness.

Jay is survived by son Robert Kennedy and his wife Dana of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter Pamela and her husband Gregory Cross of Linwood, NJ; and son Walter Kennedy of Mays Landing, NJ. Also dear to Jay’s heart, his grandchildren: Andy Cross, Cheryl Kennedy, Jacob Kennedy, and Micah and Rochelle Kennedy, who gave him his beloved great-grandchildren, Liam, Aisley, and Jovie Kennedy. Jay also leaves two sisters, Grace Holland and Ilene Young, along with nieces and nephews. Jay is predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Young Kennedy.

Jay Kennedy was known to all as a loving family man and a loyal NY Mets fan.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 29th at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Visitation with family from 10:00 AM to noon, services at noon, followed by Entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
