Obituary of Ralph F. Detaranto

Ralph Detaranto, 86, of Whippany passed away on September 12, 2018.

Born in Morris Plains, Ralph resided in Whippany for many years.

Ralph graduated from Madison High School in 1951, and RCA Institute of Technology/Newark University of Engineering. He worked for The Mennen/Colgate-Palmolive of Morristown as a Mechanical Engineer for 44 years.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Josephine, and his devoted children, Sharon and Gary. He is also survived by his brother, Angelo, and half-brother, Willard. Ralph was predeceased by his sister, Mary. 

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2-5pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Ralph will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10:00am at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests Mass Cards in memory of Ralph.
