Obituary of John T Svezia

John T. Svezia, 83, passed away on March 1, 2019 in Chatham, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn on August 23, 1935 and attended Brooklyn Technical High School. He went on to study Industrial Design at Pratt University and was drafted into the Armed Forces soon after graduating. He married Carol Ann Picardi in April of 1961 and was married for 53 years. They lived and raised a family in Millburn until her passing in June of 2014. 

John is survived by his 3 children, Jonathan, Cara and Christopher and his 8 grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 4-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Funeral Mass for John will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
