Q: How did you meet Mary?
A: 43 years ago I met Mary when we worked at Hahne's Rockaway together. We were department managers. She helped me learn the ropes. We also went out partying on many occasions with the other managers. We also met for years in LBI at her family gatherings in September each year. I will truely miss her. I had no idea she passed. I went to google her address to send her a Christmas card and her obituary popped up. I am devastated. I live in Florida but would have flown up if I had known.

Dear Helen, Billy and the entire Luciano/Beaman family,
I remember as a kid all the love and warmth our two families had growing up as neighbors. Watching everyone grow up and be successful is certainly a great legacy for all of us. Cherish all of the memories of Mary Ellen and all the happy times as kids and adults. Stay strong.
