Obituary of Janet M. Bonar

Janet Mary Bonar, 87, passed away on July 17, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Brooklyn, NY Janet resided in Morristown for the past 80 years.

Janet graduated from the College of St. Elizabeth in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She worked as a teacher for the Hanover Township Board of Education until her retirement.

Janet’s community involvement was centered at St. Margaret’s Church where she was a dedicated and active member.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, James, Monica, Alice, Janet, Chris, Marguerite, Megg, and Julia.

A Memorial Mass for Janet will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 2:00pm at St. Margaret’s Church, 6 Sussex Ave., Morristown.  Interment of ashes will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Janet may be made to: RAMP (www.ramp.org), or St. Margaret’s Church (www.csmargaret.org).

Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
