I had the opportunity to work with Joe on a few cases. The last time we worked together Joe had apprehended two individuals and a subsequent search of the car produced a handgun. There is no doubt in my mind that Joe saved lives that night. I'll see you in Heaven Joe and we'll have a glass of wine together. Gus Amato

We will miss you Joe! I'll always remember your big smile, the twinkle in your eyes, your caring heart, your laugh!!!!! Tricia, Dean and I will always remember the funny times we all had with you and Michelle, growing up...the times at camp - where you and Dean almost missed the bus, the peanut butter & jelly swirls...we'll always remember the pranks we played on Lina - placing her doll in the closet and getting in trouble. We laughed so much as kids. You are an Awesome Friend. We will Miss You!!!
