Obituary of Margaret M Steckert

Margaret “Peggy” M. Steckert, 75, of Florham Park, NJ, passed away on January 27, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Peggy resided in Florham Park for the past 45 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Parish in Florham Park. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Robert D. Steckert, of Florham Park; and her dear devoted daughter, Janet (Steckert) Geiger, and her husband, Rick, of Landing. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jesse T. Steckert, Ryanne Geiger, and Gina Geiger. Peggy was predeceased by her beloved sons, Robert J. Steckert and Thomas E. Steckert. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2-5pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Funeral Mass for Peggy will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:00am at Holy Family Church, 1 Lloyd Avenue, Florham Park. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
