Obituary of Antonio A Vazquez

Antonio “Tony” Vazquez passed away peacefully on February 3, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Tony lived in Morristown for many years, most recently in Madison. Tony had a career in Export Sales to the Pharmaceutical industry and travelled extensively to Europe and the Middle East. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and doing “his thing”, or spending time at the diner with his friends. He quickly became a friend to anyone he met; always willing to lend a hand where he could. Tony was a wealth of knowledge on any subject matter, and was a walking book of trivia. His kindness and wit will be truly missed. Tony is predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Jose. He is survived by his devoted son, Antonio “Tony” Vazquez; his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Carmen “Marcia” and Gary Windt; his cherished nephew, Gary “Skip” Windt, and his wife, Lindsay, his adored niece, Katie Windt; as well as great-nieces, Ginger and Jameson, step-daughter, Brooke Taylor, and extended family and many good and caring friends. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 4-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Celebration of Tony’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
