Obituary of Dr. Daniel R Korb

Dr. Daniel Robert Korb, 73, of Naples, FL died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Francis Georgeson Hospice House. Formerly of Morristown, NJ he had been a seasonal resident of Naples for many years before making it his permanent home in 2013. Daniel was born December 5, 1942 in Newark, NJ a son of the late Michael and Julia (Radomski) Korb. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Korb’s dental practice served the towns of Morristown, NJ and Cedar Grove, NJ for 45 years before retiring in 2013. In 1981, he received a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Daniel was a member of the Newark Dental Association, the Porsche Club of America and enjoyed playing tennis. Survivors include his beloved wife of 23 years, Barbara A. (Bogus) Korb; loving son, Daniel (Christina) Korb Jr. of Morristown, NJ; brother, Michael (Bernice) Korb of Edison, NJ; and granddaughters, Julia and Nicole Korb. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 5-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:00am at Assumption Church, 94 Maple Avenue, Morristown. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Dr. Korb's name to the charitable organization of one's choice.
