My long friendship with Karen was purely unconditional. We could sit for hours laughing and planning trips and tricky trays. She was always positive and willing to meet new people and challenges. She was defensive when it came to her family and you wanted to stay on the same page with Karen. I am a better person because of her values and battle with cancer. I will miss her voice, texts and Facebook posts, but I will try to keep a smile on my face and look for signs she's with me, I love you Kar... Be in peace
