Obituary of Alison Brown Schweikhart

Alison Brown Schweikhart, of Morristown, New Jersey passed away on May 3, 2016 after a lengthy battle with esophageal cancer. She was 65. She is survived by her husband Thomas Schweikhart, 67, to whom she was married for 45 years, and her daughter, Rose Schweikhart. Surviving siblings are Steven Brown of Northhampton, MA, Katherine Brown Agnos, of Oceanside, CA, and Anne Brown Silin, of North Whitefield, Maine. She was preceded in death by her parents Claire and Walter Brown. Her family is thankful for the beautiful friendship and endless support from her dear friends, Ann Griswold and Susan Graveman. Born in Rutland, Vt and raised in Morristown, Alison graduated from Morristown High School in 1968. She enjoyed a creative career at General Drafting before her 30 year tenure at Morris School District. The family has chosen to hold a private memorial. Alison would be best honored by a gift to the Schweikhart Professional Development Grant at the Morris Educational Foundation, an organization with which she was extremely proud to be involved for over 15 years.
