Obituary of Douglas J Francisco

Douglas J. Francisco, 87, of Morris Plains passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Kenilworth, Douglas resided in Morris Plains for the past 35 years and attended St. Virgil's parish. Douglas proudly served his country in the National Guard. He graduated from Rutgers University. Douglas worked as an Accountant and in the HR department for Congoleum Industries in Kearny for 40 years. He was an avid fisherman and he loved to travel. Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Joan (O’Donnell) Francisco; and his devoted children, Valerie and Gerry Lano, of Randolph, and Douglas and Tamra Francisco, of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Tara, Gerry and his wife Katie, and Laura Lano, Douglas and Kimberly Francisco; as well as his adored great-grandchild, Logan. Being one of 12 children, Douglas is survived by his beloved sister, Doris Eisele, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 10:00am-1:00pm, with a Memorial Service at 1:00pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment will be private.
