Mary Elizabeth Osenkowsky, Matriarch, Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother (G.G.). Mary Elizabeth Osenkowsky, 100, formerly of Cedar Knolls, more recently of Morristown, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on July 11, 2016. Born in New York, New York to the late Adolf and Mary Baranowsky, Mary resided in Cedar Knolls before moving to Morristown 30 years ago. Mary and Michael were married in 1941. Mary was employed as an Assembly Worker for T. D. I. (Transistor Devices) in Cedar Knolls for many years before she retired. She was also an 80-year parishioner of Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Love of God, her Catholic faith and her family were of foremost importance in her life. There wasn’t a day that went by that Mary did not recite the Rosary, or pray for others she knew were in need. She was a perfect example of goodness and kindness to all who knew her. Mary is survived by her devoted daughter, Mary Ann Molnar, and son-in-law, Vincent J. Molnar; dear daughter-in-law, Judith Osenkowsky; cherished grandson, Michael A. Molnar, and his wife, Linda; granddaughters, Dawn Amavisca, Rae-Ann Vasquez, and Tara Gernand; as well as her nine great-grandchildren, Mikey and Elizabeth Molnar, Mary Amavisca, Sienna, Olivia, Lauren, and Andrew Vasquez, and Jack and Logan Gernand; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Christine Bitondo. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Osenkowsky; sons, Andrew P. Osenkowsky, and John A. Osenkowsky; sisters, Anna Filip, and Helen Dragos, and brothers, Michael Barron, John Baranowsky, and Anthony Baranowsky. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Mary will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 10:00am at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls.
