Obituary of Cynthia Stacy Guerriero

Cynthia Stacy Guerriero, 69, passed away suddenly at home on September 28, 2016. Born and raised in Elizabeth, she moved to Florham Park at the age of 12 where she remained throughout her life and raised her family. Cynthia graduated from Hanover Park High School in 1965. She was a parishioner of St. Vincent Martyr Church in Madison. Cynthia was an avid golfer and an active member of the Women's Metropolitan Golf Association. One of her proudest moments was when she "broke 100". Cynthia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, William A. Guerriero; and her devoted daughters, Allison Guerriero of Florham Park, Heather Westhead and her husband, Michael of Harding Township. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Testa and her husband, Mario, Warren, NJ, and Venice, FL, Robin Stacy, Florham Park, NJ, Pamela Stacy-Zotynia, Larksville, PA, and her brother, John Stacy, Wilkes Barre, PA; as well as her cherished granddaughters, Avery Elizabeth Westhead and Mary Grace Westhead; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, September 30, 2016, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison. A Funeral Mass for Cynthia will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 11:30 am at Holy Family Church, 1 Lloyd Ave., Florham Park. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery, Madison. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in memory of Cynthia may be made to: American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
