I was getting ready to send my annual contribution to Defiance College today, and I saw a new choice in the list of ways to direct a contribution: the Tim Leuzarder Memorial. Well, I graduated from DC and later worked there, and I've kept up with people from there - but I'd never heard of Tim Leuzarder, so I googled him and found this website.
What a guy your dad was and what a life he led! And frankly, this obit and eulogy are better conceived and better written than what I created for my mom in December 2015 - and I'm a college speech professor. This is a wonderful website. Well done.

Tim was my insurance agent and a nicer person you will not find. He answered all questions in a calm and understanding manner and helped you decide the best product you needed. This is what an insurance agent is supposed to, but Tim just did it better! We had a long chat just before he retired and I was sorry to sorry he was leaving.
I never met Tim, my loss.

Tim was my classmate and friend. Over the past several years we had an opportunity to share some time together at Yankee Games, The US Open, and just some fun time together. Tim was the most gentle person I've known. His love for his family, friends, and sports, and photography were his mantles. He was so proud to show us his many fabulous photos of all sports he loved. My favorite was the CANO picture of Robbie Canoe fielding a ball.
Our hearts go out to all his children and grandchildren. We will keep Tim in our prayers !

Tim and I went to Defiance College together and were also fraternity brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Some of my fondest memories of Tim were his laugh and always willing to help. Truly a good friend and brother. My sincere sympathy to his family.

Thinking of you all during this hard time. After my mom passed away, your dad reached out to my dad with advice and kind words. I will never forget how your dad made it 'easier' for my dad. I will always remember your dad's kindness. Please accept my condolences. Your parents are reunited in Heaven watching down on all 4 of you and are so pleased with who you've all become. Prayers for all of you.

Although I hadn't seen Tim since he graduated from Defiance, he reached out to me when he visited San Diego a few years ago. It was nice catching up on his life and getting to know him as a sports loving traveler.
I wish his family and close friends a short grieving period and much longer held memories.

To the family my deepest condolences. I enjoyed working and getting to know Tim with our work on the board together. We had a really good conversation about things last week at the board meeting. Despite his health challenges he was always positive and easy to talk to and I will always remember that. The Lord makes NO mistakes and he is well deserving of the rest.

How sad we feel about Tim's passing. We hugged him a few weeks ago at my sister's funeral. I had become Facebook friends with Tim about a year ago. We admire the strength he had to live his life to the fullest up until the very end. To you children, Tim, Tracey, Allison and Maggie, our thoughts are with you. Your parents were wonderful, fun people who will be very missed. Wish we could hug all of you, but we're in Florida and will think of you often.
Love, Joan and Mario Testa

My wife Tennie and I wish to express our condolences to all of his family. I have nothing but very fond memories of Tim during our years as classmates and fellow board members at The Defiance College. He shared so much of his zest for life through his pictures and interesting stories that went along with them. We have laughed a lot and I will always be grateful for the happy times I was privileged to spend with Tim. He will never be forgotten. .

I was fortunate to have met Tim about 12 years ago when I jointed Allstate and although I never had the opportunity to have him in my group of Agents, I did have a couple opportunities to be around him and see that he was a true professional and gentleman with everyone he came in contact with, regardless of who you were or where you came from. I remember his passion for golf and photography and one of the Agents telling me that Tim watched all the sporting events he attended through his camera lens.
I would just like to pass along my condolences to Tim's family and let you know that you Father/Grandfather/Relative/Friend was one of those rare people that you seek out or gravitate to in a meeting or function and as far as him representing Allstate as an Agent, well the words "Priceless" come to mind. He will be missed & remembered by many!

To the family of W. W Timothy Leuzarder.
Within minutes of learning of my wife's passing, your Father/Grandpa wrote these words on my Facebook page. I have kept them over these years because of the value I hold, not only in the words, but that they came from the heart of my good friend.
I share these words now in hopes they comfort you as they did me.
"Greg, I'm so sorry for your loss. From my experience with my Pat, it is the small everyday things that you will remember the most. The stories, the laughs and the smiles will bring tears at the craziest times, but go with it, since everyone will know why. It is these same things that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles of a wonderful life together. Our love and thoughts at this time from your TKE and DC friends."
I know your Father/Grandpa is resting in peace after a life well lived on this earth.
So to the entire Leuzarder family - please know you and yours are never truly alone and your memories of the love of this fine man will cover you all like a comforting blanket.
Even as we “pass through the waters again”, we believe angels will watch over us and guide us, and now we have another. Rest in Peace Tim
