Obituary of Louis E. Terreri

Louis E. Terreri, East Hanover, NJ, 83 Louis Terreri passed away with his loving family by his side on November 22, 2016. Lou was born on February 11, 1933, the son of Russell Terreri, Sr. and Anna Rampone. He attended Morristown High School and then joined the Navy, where he was deployed to Italy during the Korean War. On returning, he attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and received his Civil Engineering degree. Lou worked for Becton-Dickinson, Mountainside Hospital, and ended his executive career at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in NYC as Vice President of Engineering. He retired in 2005. Before moving to East Hanover in 2015, he lived in Morris Plains for 50 years. He was married to the former Deanne Dasaro, who passed away in 2015. He leaves two children, Louis Todd Terreri of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Stacey M. Terreri, of East Hanover, as well as his beloved grandson, Giovanni Dexter Terreri. He also leaves two stepsons, Joseph Dasaro, of Long Island, and Anthony Dasaro, of Hamburg, and grandson Vincenzo Dasaro. He leaves his brothers, Russell M. Terreri, of Morris Plains, New Jersey, and Eugene Terreri, of Vero Beach, Florida. Lou was a member for many years at Forest Hills Field Club in Belleville, NJ, where he leaves behind many good friends and golf partners. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass for Lou will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 9:45am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 312 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, the family of Louis E. Terreri requests contributions in his memory may be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit c/o the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South Street, 1st Floor, Morristown, NJ 07960 (www.f4mmc.org).
