Obituary of Patricia A. Sarasohn

Patricia Anne Sarasohn, 71, of Madison, NJ, passed away at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains on December 20, 2016. Patricia graduated from St. Ambrose High School in Grosse Pointe, MI, and earned her B.A. degree in Education from the University of Michigan in 1967. Patricia has resided in Madison for the past 41 years. She was President and an active member of the Madison Board of Education for 23 years, and a member of Temple B’Nai Or in Morristown. Patricia is survived by her devoted children, Amy and David Spurr, of Portland, OR, Anne Sarasohn, of Morristown, NJ, and Adam and Eliza Sarasohn, of Kensington, CA. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Penelope and Maxwell Spurr, and Gray and August Sarasohn. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Peter, in 1999. A Funeral Service for Patricia will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00am at Temple B’Nai Or, 60 Overlook Road, Morristown. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Cedar Knolls.
