Obituary of Carol B. Kennaday

Carol Baecht Kennaday, 79, of Morristown, NJ, passed away on December 30, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Glen Ridge, Carol resided in Morristown for the past 50 years. Carol earned her B.A. degree in Mathematics from Skidmore College, and her M.S. degree in Computer Sciences from Stevens Institute of Technology. She worked as a Software Engineer for Bell Labs in Whippany, NJ for 35 years, before retiring in 1997. Carol was a member of the Morristown United Methodist Church, where she sang with their Church Choir for 51 years. She was also a Charter member and sang with the Morris Choral Society for 43 years. Carol loved to travel. Her extensive travels took her to all 50 states, as well as places including: South America, China, Australia, New Zealand, and throughout Europe. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Robert, of nearly 52 years. A Memorial Service for Carol will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:30pm at the Morristown United Methodist Church, 50 S. Park Place, Morristown. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in memory of Carol may be made to: Skidmore College, 815 N.
