Obituary of Harold P. Epstein

Harold Paul Epstein, 86, of Morris Plains, passed away at Morris View Healthcare Center on May 25, 2019.

Born in Bronx, NY, Harold resided in Morristown for 12 years before moving to Morris Plains 36 years ago. He graduated from high school in 1951. Harold went onto earn his B.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering from NYU - College of Engineering in 1955, and his M.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1958.

He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Bell Labs in Whippany for 35 years, until he retired in 1992.

Harold is survived by his loving companion of 13 years, Irene Preiser, of Morristown, and his devoted son, Derek M. Epstein, of Morris Plains. He is also survived by his nephews, Martin, Greg, and Ronald Rosker. Harold was predeceased by his wife, Edith (Finver) Epstein in 2006.
