Obituary of Ruth Dorothy LiPira

Ruth (Ellis) LiPira, 71, of East Hanover, NJ, passed away August 3, 2019.

Born in Morristown, Ruth resided in Florham Park for many years before moving to East Hanover, where she has lived for the past 10 years. Ruth graduated from Madison High School in 1966.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Alfred J. LiPira, Jr., caring sister-in-law, Nancy Hertz Ellis, devoted nieces, Kathy Ellis Bruyn and Lisa Ellis Gates, and step-sons, Michael LiPira and Jeffrey LiPira. Ruth is predeceased by her parents and brother, David Ellis.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 4-8 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 10-11 am at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home. Following, there will be a brief graveside service for Ruth at Pluckemin Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 12 noon.
