Obituary of Mary Lepinsky

Mary (Brecker) Lepinsky, 91, passed away on August 16, 2019.

Born in Bronx, NY, Mary resided in Mt. Freedom, Morristown, and Lester Housing in Whippany before moving to the Daughters of Israel in West Orange.

Mary graduated with an Associates degree, and worked as a bookkeeper. She also lovingly took care of her family as a wife and mother. She was a member of B’Nai Brith.

Mary leaves four children and their spouses:  Norma and Hagai Blum, Joan and Robert LeRoy, Marcia and Jay Brecker, and Nancy and Don Tirpak. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, David and Becky Zwillinger, Ariel and Lauren Blum, Jonathan Blum, Daniel, Jamie, and Michael LeRoy, and Erica and Ethan Brecker; as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Ayla, Ben, Liuya, Suri, and Jacob Zwillinger. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Donald Brecker, in 1977. She was married and divorced from Jerry Lepinsky.

A Graveside Service for Mary will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 11:00am at Mt. Freedom Hebrew Congregation Cemetery, Mt. Freedom.
