Obituary of Lucille Rovak

Lucille Rovak, 91 of Whippany, NJ, died on September 23, 2019.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lucille, the eldest of two, graduated from Tilden High School.  She worked as a bookkeeper and staff accountant for many years, starting out at Standard & Poor’s and retiring from Lopez, Edwards, Frank in Valley Stream, NY in 1992.  A resident of Rockaway, NY for 50 years, Lucille received an Associates of Arts from Queensborough Community College in 2001.

Predeceased by her husband, Jerry Rovak, and her brother, Albert Wolfman, she is survived by her two children, Carol Rogoff, of Denville, NJ and Michael Rovak, of Houston, TX, her son-in law, Arthur Rogoff, and daughter-in-law, Mary Rovak, four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

A graveside service was held at Beth Israel Cemetery, in Cedar Knolls, on September 25.
