I recall many years ago the family would all get together for Thanksgiving at Grandma's house in NJ and she seemed so happy to be hosting and have all the family together for a few days. I believe she was her happiest when we were all together because it was a special occasion. She would prepare her world famous lasagna which is still the best! She would have her classical music playing on the stereo and would walk around in her favorite valor jumpsuit. She was very calm and would often love to tell funny stories and make people laugh. She had a good sense of humor and was so proud of her children and grand children. Over the past few years, she became quite good with email and we would communicate often this way. She always made it a point to update me on our cousins and how they were doing professionally and at home with the children. I always felt like she was the glue that kept the families together and she told everyone how amazing her grand kids are. I am happy that Gianna had the opportunity to meet her last year, although she wasn't in good health at the time, we have some nice photos of the two of them together. She will be deeply missed! We are so sorry to hear that Claire has passed. she was a wonderful woman and a gracious hostess. We enjoyed the time we got to spend with her and Bob, always a lot of fun. Claire was a bundle of energy and always looking for something new to do. We could call Claire any time and she would always have an idea of how to spend our time together. Her love for her family was her number one priority. She is sorely missed. Pat & Frank Toolan
