Obituary of Kathleen M. DiLauri

Kathleen Marie "Kay" DiLauri (née Murphy), 76, of Florham Park, passed away on November 1, 2019 at The Country Home in Morris Plains, NJ. 
 

Born in Summit, NJ, Kay lived in Madison, NJ before moving to Florham Park, NJ, where she has lived for the past 53 years. 
 

Kay graduated from Bayley Ellard High School in Madison in 1961. Before her retirement 5 years ago, Kay was the Co-Owner of DiLauri Steel Fabricators, Inc. in East Hanover, NJ for 42 years. 
 

Kay was a parishioner of St. Vincent Martyr Church in Madison and of Holy Family Church in Florham Park. 
 

Kathleen is predeceased by her beloved husband, Barry DiLauri (1998). Kay is survived by her devoted son, Christopher DiLauri and his wife, Kimberly. Kay is also survived by her granddaughters, Gabriella DiLauri and Jessica DiLauri, and many caring nieces and nephews. Kathleen is predeceased by her sister, Eileen Voelbel and her brother, John Murphy. 
 

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Funeral Mass for Kay will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10 am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kay's memory to Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601 or online at www.alz.org

 

Kay’s family would like to thank the Staff at the Country Home of Morris Plains for taking the best care of her.  Also, the staff of Ascend Hospice for their continued love and support and for being there for the family until the very end.
