Obituary of Franklin R Greer, Sr.

Franklin “Frank” R. Greer, Sr. passed away suddenly at home on June 18, 2015. Born in Newark, NJ, Frank spent most of his life in the Morris area. He was proprietor of Colonial Sunoco in Morristown, NJ for over 40 years. Frank is predeceased by his wife and best friend, Ruth Greer. Surviving are his children, Karen Willie, of Thomaston, GA, Franklin, Jr. of Palm Coast, FLA, and Kathy Schumacher, of Waxhaw, NC; as well as 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. He is also survived by his sisters, Anita McGrath and Maureen Kopocis. Frank was a long-time member of Hildale Park Presbyterian Church in Cedar Knolls, NJ. Frank was an avid gardener, and loved his home, and most of all – his neighbors. A Memorial Service is being held today, Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 1:00pm at Hildale Park Presbyterian Church, 85 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls, NJ. Interment is private.
