Obituary of Barbara L. Parmigiani

Barbara Louise Parmigiani, née Caragine, of Morris Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. She is survived by her husband, John Parmigiani, her two children, Cara and John-Paul Parmigiani, her granddaughter Louise, and loving relatives and close friends. She is the daughter of the late Jean Caragine and Paul Caragine, Sr. and the sister of the late Paul Caragine, Jr. Barbara was a graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station. She was raised in Boonton and lived most of her life in New Jersey. She also spent several years in the Marshall Islands and held many professional positions, including having worked for Bell Labs, Apollo Chemical, and the County of Morris. Barbara loved her family with her whole heart and delighted in helping people reach their potential. She was generous, passionate, courageous, humorous, and resilient. The family wishes to thank all those who loved her. She will be dearly missed. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Boonton.
