I had the luck, honor and pleasure to know Rob Mangino for almost 30 years.
When I was dating his daughter Julianne, he made me feel welcome. When we were married, he made me family. When we divorced, he remained a close friend. When my son died, he was the one who helped me keep it together dealing with the hospital, organ bank, funeral home, graveyard, etc.
Rob stuck by you, through thick and thin...he was a man of substance, ethics, faith and commitment in a world where those qualities have all become passe. He was a hugely successful corporate attorney who luv'd to read Mad Magazine; the epitome of a devoted 'family man'...and, was simply the single finest man I have ever known.
My hope is that all of Rob's faith in god, an afterlife and resurrection are realized; and, that wherever he may be and whatever he may be, he is somewhere that is truly heaven for him.
Thanks, Rob.

I have known Bob for more than 40 years. We stared off as work colleagues which quickly developed into a lifelong friendship. We travelled together for business and pleasure, often with spouses, to some of the most
popular cities in the US and abroad. We shared countless memories. Bob was one of the nicest guys you would hope to meet. I can honestly say in over
four decades I never ever saw Bob lose his temper, not
even after hitting a wayward tee shot, and God knows there were plenty of those. His kindness, intelligence, approachability and humility were among
his trademarks and well known throughout our industry. I would literally run out of adjectives trying to
describe Bob’s qualities. Above all Bob was a true family man, devoted to Ann, his children and grandkids. His influence on his children obvious, where
Bobby and Jennifer followed in his footsteps. Bob was
a genuine good guy and I feel privileged to have known him. He will be missed but always remembered.
