Obituary of Evedine Borzeka

Evedine (“Deana”) C. Borzeka, formerly of Morristown, NJ, more recently of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on June 20, 2015. She was 83 years old. Born in Colebrook, New Hampshire, Deana resided in Morristown until she moved to Punta Gorda five years ago. Deana worked as a Machine Operator for Swisscomatic for 22 years before she retired. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Randolph, NJ, and Daughters of Penelope, since 1975. Deana is survived by her devoted children and cherished grandchildren, Michael Borzeka and his wife Kimberly, and their son, Jon-Michael Borzeka, all of Jacksonville, FL; Kathleen A. Edwards and her husband, Dr. Thomas J. Edwards, of Punta Gorda, FL; and their children, Dr. Brandon M. Edwards of Maryland, and Meghan K. Edwards, of Dublin, Ireland. Visiting will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. A Funeral Mass for Deana will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, NJ. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Deana can be made to: St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church.
