Obituary of Evelyn J. Krehely

Evelyn J. Krehely, 96, of Florham Park, passed away on June 18, 2020 at Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Evelyn resided in Florham Park for the past 60 years. Evelyn graduated from the John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1941. She worked as a Purchasing Clerk for Automatic Switch in Florham Park for 20 years, until she retired in 1985. Evelyn was a parishioner of the Church of the Holy Family, where she was a member of their Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Florham Park Seniors, Asco-Old Timers Club, and Madison Women’s Bowling League. Evelyn is survived by her devoted children, Robert H. Krehely, Jr., of Oak Ridge, NJ, Kathryn M. Krehely, of Florham Park, NJ, and John D. Krehely, Sr., of East Stroudsburg, PA. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth L. Krehely, of Jacksonville, FL, and John D. Krehely, Jr. and his fiancée, Elizabeth Curry, of Hoboken, NJ. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Krehely, Sr. (1997), as well as her three siblings, Dorothy McGlade, Albert Jackson, and Walter Jackson. The Krehely family is concerned about the well-being of those they love and care about. A private burial will take place at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover. We ask that you please keep Evelyn’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
