I met Gloria at AM Varityper when I moved to the headquarters in 1984 and started working in East Hanover. Gloria was one of the nicest people and always looked out for others. I remember one day we had potential buyer coming to see Varityper and Gloria noticed the dust on a plan in the lobby and got towels to wipe it down so it would shine when the guest arrive. She truly cared about the company and everyone in the company.

When my Mom first came to Care One Gloria was my Mom’s first friend. Gloria had a way of making my Mom feel so welcome. As I got to know Gloria we had many fun times talking and laughing together. I will never forget her, Gloria was very special to me. You will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace. Ruthie (Ronnie’s daughter)

Gloria was a loving and caring individual with a heart filled with so much compassion and joy. Being a young volunteer, I had joined Care One not knowing the people I would meet there and the impact they would have on my life. Gloria was the first resident I spoke to the day I came in to apply. A greeting turned into a conversation, and soon she would become the reason why I came to Care One every day. Every morning I would see Gloria eating breakfast, and not a day went by where she would not call my sister and me over to talk with her. We would wander the halls of Care One with her cup of coffee and talk for hours. During the time we would spend together, we would play cards, talk about life, and crack jokes with each other. Gloria showed me what it means to be a person of character and virtue and for that, she will always be remembered in my heart.
