I was Jim’s Division Officer on the USS Moinester (FF-1097) from 1977-1979. Jim was a terrific Sailor. I remember his humor, his confidence to try anything, and his tremendous ability to make friends aboard the Ship. His humor, laughter and smile were genuine, and made him a successful member of the Moinester crew, and one of my favorite Sailors aboard. I tried over the years to reconnect with Jim, but fate had other plans. Jim, you were a great sailor, and a wonderful Human Being!!! May your family smile with your memories, as we did in Ships Company!! RIP SHIPMATE!!!
