One could not help but be drawn towards Catherine Pyontek. She was warm, had a melodious voice, the kindest eyes, laughed easily and welcomed all with her beautiful smile. She also seemed to have a way of being in multiple places at once- cooking up a storm in the kitchen yet also interacting with guests spread throughout her house. At one family gathering, she even taught my father the art of chocolate molding and much to my father's delight, there was no guilt to enjoying her recipe- which of course we all did for years! My family and I offer our deepest condolences to the Pyontek girls and their extended families at this sad time.
Catherine, you had the heart of all who were lucky to know you. May you rest in peace and joy, dear lady. Heaven gained a rare angel the day you moved in.
