**THE MEMORIAL MASS FOR EDWARD PARLOCK HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED - PLEASE SEE SERVICE INFORMATION BELOW.** Edward Charles Parlock, 67, passed away peacefully in Flanders, NJ following his long fight with multiple cancers. Ed was born in Bayonne, NJ. He was a world traveler. He lived in West Virginia and New Jersey prior to settling in Reading, PA. Edward graduated from St. Peter’s Prep and attended St. Peter’s College, Jersey City until 1971. He worked for Bailey Controls - ABB for 25 years and DLL Solutions, Bedford, NH, as an Operations Manager for over 10 years until his retirement in 2018. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1975 to 1981 and achieved the rank of E5 Petty Officer 2nd Class. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tanya (nee Boyer/Engel) Parlock, and his stepsons, Christopher Engel and David Engel; as well as his sister, Nancy Markey and her husband, Don, Flanders, NJ, and Maribeth Dulfer and her husband, Frank, Dover, NJ. He is also survived by his nieces, Kristin Dulfer Ospina, Dover, NJ, Katherine Dulfer Sokerka, Mine Hill, NJ, Cheryl Markey Wulff, Annapolis, MD, and nephews, Gregory Markey, Mine Hill, NJ, David Markey, Alexandria, VA, and great-nieces, Emma Ospina, Allison Wulff, and great-nephews, Alexander Ospina, Ryan Sokerka, Luke Sokerka, and Bennett Markey. A Memorial Mass for Ed will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10 at Sacred Heart Church, 4 Richards Avenue, Dover. Masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Edward’s memory to the Cancer Research Fund at Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, The Foundation (at Morristown Medical Center) 475 South St. Morristown, NJ 07960 or online at www.f4mmc.org.
