Obituary of John Edward Shanaman

John “Jack” Shanaman of Morris Plains NJ passed away on December 14, 2020, he was 88. Jack was born February 17, 1932 in Wheeling, WV and was the only child to the late William Z. and Claire (Steber) Shanaman. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was employed as a researcher/toxicologist at Warner Lambert in Morris Plains for his entire career. A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Hopkins Shanaman and their children, John Michael Shanaman (Karen Saville) and Anne Hopkins Shanaman (Scott Henry), five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jack and his wife enjoyed traveling, playing golf and spending time with family and friends. Services will be deferred to a later date. Online condolences can be made at Dangler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hildale Park Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
