Obituary of Joanne M. Murray

Joanne Murray (née Taddeo) 75, of Cedar Knolls, NJ, passed away January 6, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Orange, NJ, Joanne resided in Belleville, NJ before she moved to Cedar Knolls where she has lived for 26 years. Joanne graduated from Orange High School in 1963. Joanne was employed by Chubb Insurance Company’s Health Division for 32 years from 1966 to 1998, as a claims examiner and claims unit supervisor. Before her retirement in 2020, Joanne was a Surgical Scheduling Coordinator for 20 years at Affiliated Dermatology in Morristown. Joanne was a parishioner of St. Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains. Joanne was predeceased by her beloved parents, Herman and Nicolina Taddeo. Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Murray. She is also survived by her devoted son, Ryan Murray and his wife, Diana and her adoring grandson, Brendan Murray and cherished goddaughter, Dawn Giambattista. As well as many close friends. Funeral Services for Joanne are private at this time. A Celebration of Life Service and entombment of Joanne’s ashes will be scheduled for a future date, please check back for service details.
