Obituary of Margaret R. Nunnermacker

Margaret Rosanna Nunnermacker, 56, of Hanover, NJ, passed away on July 29th, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. A church service will be held at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel on Wednesday, August 4th at 10am. Visitation will be held at Dangler Funeral Home in Morris Plains on Tuesday, August 3rd from 5pm to 8pm. For the health and safety of their guests, while attending the Indoor Services, the Nunnermacker family is respectfully requesting that guests please wear masks. A continued flow throughout the Funeral Home will aid in keeping all of us safe; allowing everyone to have an opportunity to pay their respects. Margaret's favorite color was purple. As a tribute to Margaret, her family is kindly requesting guests to wear some form of purple for the Funeral Mass on Wednesday. Margaret was born in Yonkers, NY, to Richard and Rosanna Hirshkind on August 26th, 1964. She went to high school at Saint Elizabeth's Academy and graduated in 1982. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Saint Elizabeth's College and her master's from Mary Grove College. She was a dedicated teacher for 35 years and retired in January, 2021 with more than 30 years at Canfield Avenue School. Margaret enjoyed running 5Ks, staying active with her family, and listening to Bruce Springsteen. Margaret is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Noel and Kraig; her parents, Richard and Rosanna; and her siblings, Richard, Kiera, Katherine, and Eileen.
