Obituary of Elizabeth J. Weisert

Elizabeth “Betty” J. Weisert passed away at the age of 95 on March 13, 2017. Betty was life-long resident of Morris Plains, and lived on the same property purchased by her Grandfather in 1884. Betty graduated from Morristown High School in 1939, and attended Cedar Crest College and Berkeley Secretarial School. Betty was the wife of the late Dr. James F. Weisert, a dentist for 27 years in Morris Plains. She is survived by her daughter, Joan E. Weisert; her son, Robert J. Weisert; her granddaughter, Kelly Weisert; and her daughter-in-law, Karin Weisert. Betty was a member of the following organizations: Morris Plains Republican Club, Woman’s Club of Morristown - Social Services, Morris Plains Senior Citizens Club. She was also a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for many years. She was a sweet and lovely person and will be truly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 4-7pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:30am at Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Avenue, East Hanover.
