Obituary of Laura R. Waters

Beloved Wife, Mother, & Grandmother Laura R. Waters, 90, formerly of Parsippany, more recently of Hillsborough, passed away on September 19, 2021 at Foothill Acres Rehab in Hillsborough. Born in Frankfort, Germany, Laura resided in New York City before moving to Parsippany over 60 years ago. She then moved to Hillsborough in 2019. Laura lovingly took care of her family as a homemaker. Her career also included working as a Nursery School Teacher and Insurance Claims Representative. Laura is survived by her children, Diana Carr (Michael), of Ringoes, NJ, and Ron Waters, of Hartford, CT. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Jack Sevita; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Sternfels, and Barbara Waters; as well as her grandsons, David Carr and Alex Carr, and nieces and nephews, Barry Waters, Karen Waas, Janet Siegle, Joseph Sevita, Debbie Lowe, and Pam Sternfels. Laura was predeceased by her husband, Hebert Waters, and brother, Al Sternfels. A Graveside Service for Laura will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00am at Beth Israel Cemetery, 19 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls.
