Phyllis Loria Bonanno, of Morris Plains, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on her birthday, September 27, 2021. Born in Orange, NJ, Phyllis resided in Morris Plains for the past 43 years. Phyllis graduated from Mt. Saint Mary Academy in 1961, and earned her B.A. degree in Business Administration from Caldwell University in 1965. She worked for Orloff, Lowenbach, Stifelman & Siegel for 25 years, until she retired as Administrative Manager in 2011. Phyllis was an active member of St. Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains, a Eucharistic minister, a volunteer at Morris View Nursing Home, as well as a former member of the Association of Legal Administrators and the St. Virgil’s Women’s Guild. She enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach, cooking, entertaining and spending “Nana time” with her three grandchildren. Phyllis was a beautiful person, inside and out, and she surrounded herself with beauty in her home and in her friends. Phyllis is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Dana (Bonanno) Pandiscia, and her husband, Tony, of Sparta, and Joelle Bonanno, of Red Bank. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Linda (Loria) Soprano, and her husband, Tom, of North Caldwell, Diane (Loria) D’Alconzo, and her husband, Vito, of Morris Township, and Dennis Loria, and his wife, Patty, of Acton, MA; her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Regelski, Anthony Pandiscia, and Michael Pandiscia; as well as her adored nieces and nephews, Denise (Loria) Bello, Chris Soprano, Renee Loria, Darren D’Alconzo, Alyssa (D’Alconzo) Thomas, Amy Loria, Kerry Loria, Kelly Loria, and Kevin Loria.
