Obituary of Mary E. Orlando Lamson Conrads

Mary E. (Orlando) Lamson-Conrads Mary passed away peacefully at home in Green Brook, NJ on September 29, 2021. Mary was born December 5, 1935 to Corini and Anna (Renna) Orlando. Mary grew up in Madison and Stirling, NJ. She attended Long Hill Twp. Schools as a young child. She then went on to graduate from Madison High School in 1954. Mary first married James W. Lamson, Jr. and resided in Stirling with their daughter. But later divorced and married the love of her life, Robert W. Conrads, in 2007. They resided in Green Brook. Mary worked for Green Village Meat Packing for 42 years; retiring in 2016. Ever since she was a young girl, Mary baked cookies to send to our Service Men and Women overseas. She donated so much of her time to helping others. In her spare time, she was involved in Madison Class of ’54 Reunions; and served as President of the Meyersville Grange; where she was a member for over 50 years. Mary also belonged to the Long Hill Twp. Seniors. She loved teaching her many crafts of sewing, knitting, crocheting, and baking. Mary was always ready for a new adventure! She truly loved her family and friends, and spending time with them. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert W. Conrads; and her daughter, Jennifer Ann Lamson, and her husband, James Gardner; her stepchildren, Allison Conrads, and Gary Conrads, and his wife, Lori; as well as her grandchildren, Jessica, Amy, and AJ Romano; and a great-granddaughter, Stella Matos. She is also survived by her sisters, Grace Parlapiano, Kathy Simonelli, and her husband, Neil, Anna Maganelli, and her husband, Clem; her brothers, Cory Orlando, and his wife, Shelby, her sisters-in-law, Dory Orlando, and Janet Lamson Tunison; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Sodano, and Antoinette Orlando, and her brother, Peter Orlando. Visiting will be on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 10:30am-12:30pm, with a Funeral Service at 12:30pm, at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. (Guests are respectfully requested to wear masks indoors.) Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kind requests donations in memory of Mary may be made to your favorite charity.
