Obituary of Judith E. Cifelli

Judith E. "Judi" Cifelli, 76, of Morris Plains passed away on October 31, 2021. Born in Orange, Judi has resided in Morris Plains for the past 52 years. Judi graduated from West Orange High School in 1963. She worked as a Medical Assistant for Morris Family Practice for 37 years, until she recently retired in 2021. She was also a parishioner of St. Virgil’s Church, Morris Plains. Judi is survived by her devoted children, Felicia Benton (James), of Spring, TX, Marianne Zeller (Kevin), of Morristown, NJ, and Anthony Cifelli (Maria), of Denville, NJ. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Susan Collins (Graham), Christopher King (Debbie), Martha King, Mandy Burke, and Peg Montoya; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Devan Benton (Sean), of Oklahoma, Alstin Benton (Cecilia), of Kansas, Emma Klein, and Julia Zeller, both of Morristown, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. Judi was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph, in 2015. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4-7pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. (*Guests are respectfully requested to wear masks while indoors.) A Funeral Mass for Judi will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Virgil’s Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Judi may be made to: Head & Neck Cancer Research, Carol G.
