Please share a memory of Francis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Monday, November 15, 2021, Francis J. Sweetin Jr, loving husband, and father of three children passed away at the age of 74. Frank was born on July 12th in Newark, NJ. He was a proud graduate of Oratory high school and went on to try many different careers, sheriff, limo driver, security guard, until he started on his pathway into insurance as a claims adjuster. After working his way up through the ranks inside of major insurance firms such as MetLife and Prudential, in 1985 he ventured out opening up BJ Associates with long-time friend and neighbor Bruce Jones. In 2006, he partnered with friend and brother knight, Jack Costello, operating Chadwick Financial. On February 21, 1972, after a severe snowstorm, Frank married the love of his life Anne, and they went on to raise 3 children, Christopher, Susan and Bridget. Frank had a passion for life, had a strong faith and he was not shy about boasting of his love & the pride he held for his family. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, larger than life personality, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He is survived by his wife, Anne, his three children, Christopher (Jennifer), Susan (Bob), and Bridget (Charlotte) as well as his grandchildren, Katelyn, Conner & Teddy. He is also survived by his brothers George & Robert and his sisters, Kitty & Celeste, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his father, Francis, and his mother, Mary. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Church on Lloyd Avenue in Florham Park, followed by a celebration of his life at the parish hall. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Knights of Columbus, 2248 McDowell Council (a recognized charity). We all know how Frank was a proud member of this organization and one of his biggest accomplishments was the work he did with the K of C.
