Obituary of Stanley O. Simpson

Stanley O. Simpson, of Morristown, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2021. Stanley, a loving father, and husband was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He often recounted his childhood memories on Madison St. Stanley moved to New Jersey in 1962. He worked for Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals in Kenilworth as an Animal Care Technician, for 32 years, retiring in August 1998. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Helen Marie and Emerson Simpson; and his beloved brothers and sister – Douglas, Emerson, Virginia and Caroll. Stanley is survived, by his wife of 55 years, Rowena; three daughters, Shonda, of South Orange, Christina, of Morristown, and Xaviera of Edgewater; grandson, Xavier Nyas of Tokyo, Japan and granddaughter, Alani Malinda of Edgewater. His hobbies included keeping a well-kept yard and home; he was a boxing enthusiast. Stanley will always be remembered for his love of oldies and jazz music, signature style, and selfless heart. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 3 pm to 5 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Masks are respectfully required for all guests. Stanley's family understands some may be unable to attend the memorial visitation due to the coronavirus pandemic - we ask that you please keep Stanley and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
