Obituary of Margaret Morrison

Margaret Morrison, 83, of Morristown passed away at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Boonton, Margaret graduated from Morristown High School in 1956. She resided in Morristown for the past 56 years. Margaret lovingly took care of her family as a stay-at-home Mom. Margaret is survived by her dear husband, James Morrison, Sr., and her devoted children, James Morrison, Jr. (Linda), of Parsippany, Susan Ransom (Steven), of Morristown; Joseph Morrison, Sr., of Succasunna, John Morrison (Gail), of Palm Coast, FL, and Sandra Forschner (John), of Kenvil. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Josephine Milstead, Edith Strelec, Catherine Fiorentino, George Strelec, (Ann), Robert Strelec, Barbara Strelec, Sue Strelec, Frances Strelec, Stephen Strelec, (Cindy), RoseMarie D’Augustine, Jim Miller, Fred Strelec, (Mary Jean), Patricia Mann, (Howard), and Christine Penza (Alfred); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Sherri Miller (Jason), Kyle Morrison, Holly Conklin, Joseph Morrison, Jr., Brett Morrison, (Aundrea), Caitlin Morrison, Aaron Morrison, and Tyler Forschner; 7 adored great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved siblings, Andrew Strelec, Michael Strelec, (Sheila), John Strelec, Frank Strelec, Diedrich Strelec, (Rosalie), and Anthony Strelec. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4-7pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. (*Guests are respectfully requested to wear masks while indoors.) Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Margaret may be made to: American Heart Association (www.heart.org), or Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
